At, we welcome comment from all fields of the ISO27001 spectrum.

To remain open, inclusive and professional, we follow these principles:

We are committed to promoting the highest quality discussions online, and believe that community members want thought-provoking and interesting content. Please contribute by adding comments and/ or questions that will be of value to other community members, or by providing solutions to questions raised without that solution being the purely the promotion of a product or service.

Respect other contributors. Disrespectful comments will be removed, and repeat offenders will have their accounts deleted.

Submitting content via the Community Forum

Content can be uploaded in the community forum by selecting the 'upload' option, such as an article or opinion piece..

In addition, content may be submitted for publication in the main pages of the site (i.e. not in the Community Forum).

Guidelines for submitting content for publication on "News and Articles" section 

All content submitted will be subject to editorial review, and will be published based on the editor's discretion.  

All content published on the main pages should be original content, and the author's own work.     
Content must be submitted in Word for publication, not exceed 500 words, include the author's name and surname, occupation, contact details (telephone number and email address), company name and link to company website, an appropriate heading and a short 5-line synopsis, explaining why the article is relevant for the users of the site.   By submitting any content, the author confirms that the content is original and that he/ she is the original author the work. 
Content for consideration to be published on the main site pages (not in the community forum) should be emailed to the Editor.

The editor reserves the right to reject content not deemed appropriate, original or relevant.  Content that sets out to promote a specific product or service will not be published. 

Authors will be credited for published articles with a short mention of the author at the end of the article. All author content will include a link to the Author's website, including an email address. 


If your comments result in creating an unpleasant environment for the other community members, you and your comments will be removed.   Our editors have the right to moderate comments and to remove users who are disrespectful or do not add constructively to the discussion.

Community flag system

We would like you to help us identify inappropriate comments by ‘red flagging’ a comment that breaks our community rules. If you believe a red flag has not been used correctly, then give it a green flag. Three red flags will remove the comment.. 

The following comments will not be tolerated:

  • Disrespectful or threatening personal comments about or directed at any person, entity or organisation.
  • Comments that do not contribute to the development and improvement of topics associated with ISO27001:2013. 
  • Anonymous profiles.
  • Threats, racial/sexual slurs, or vulgarity.
  • Comments that excessively promote organisations, consultants and/ or products.
  • Comments that don’t add to the conversation because it changes the subject, or is aimed at drawing readers in to an off-topic discussion.
  • Content that knowingly violates the copyright, trademark, or trade secret of any individual or entity.
  • Comments that are aimed at continuing to make a specific point about a topic that, through repetition, has lost appeal by the community.
  • Comments that are merely a rehash of others’ conversations or comments which do not provide any additional value.
  • Posts containing any URL not relevant to the conversation, will be considered spam. 
  • Contributors who do not provide value in their comments other than posting links to web pages, products or services.
  • Spam will deleted.
